Cyclist dies after lorry crash in Gillingham, Kent

A 58-year old cyclist died on the morning of September 2nd following a collision with a lorry.

The collision occurred at 11:27am on Medway Road.

An air ambulance landed at the nearby Walnut Tree Club, but the local man was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering serious injuries to his head and chest.

Kent Police said the crash involved a silver DAF lorry

A Kent Police spokesman said: “The cyclist is believed to have been heading from Brompton, while the lorry was travelling from the B2004.
