Cyclist seriously injured in crash with lorry on Newgate Lane in Fareham

A female cyclist in her 50s has sustained serious life-threatening injuries in a collision with a lorry on the Gosport Road near the junction with Newgate Lane in Fareham.

The curtain-sided Mercedes lorry was being driven by a 66-year-old man from Chichester.

The incident occurred at 11:50 on Tuesday 13th August.

The cyclist was taken to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance
