Cyclist dies in Hampshire dual carriageway crash

A 61-year-old cyclist died after a crash on a Hampshire dual carriageway.

The accident was on the A31 between Four Marks and Chawton at about 17:45 GMT on Friday.
Police said a man riding a bike was involved in a collision with a black Peugeot 207 on the eastbound carriageway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 62-year-old driver of the car was taken to hospital in Basingstoke with non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed in both directions for five hours while an investigation took place.
