Man charged over pedestrian's death

A 48-year-old man has been charged for causing death by dangerous driving after an incident with a pedestrian in Brentwood in 2012.

Curtis McDonald, 49, died after he was struck by a van at Kings Road, outside Brentwood railway station on 6 December 2012.

The van driver, Stuart Webb, was charged on Tuesday, 13 August and was bailed to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on 29 August.
