A woman from Mildenhall has been found not guilty by a jury of charges of dangerous driving and assault causing actual bodily harm after it was alleged she knocked a cyclist from his bike.

Cyclist dies 9 days after collision with coach in Scotland

A 51-year-old cyclist has died nine days after he was involved in a collision with a coach on the southbound carriageway of the A9 between Luncarty and Inveralmond near Perth.

The cyclist suffered a serious head injury in the crash on December 30 and was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

He remained in the intensive care unit until his death on January 8th.

A Royal Mail lorry driver has been found not guilty of causing the death of a moped rider by careless driving.

Desmond Garraway, 54, of Southampton, was overtaking on the Farnham-bound A331 on 3 May 2012 when his lorry collided with a moped.

Mark Edwards, 50, of Camberley, Surrey, who was riding the moped, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
